This location provides significant storage capacity for logs and enables significant containerized cargoes of logs.

FACILITY OPERATIONS
Export facility located directly at port Canaveral, Florida
Located directly on the cargo terminal at Port Canaveral, our export facility receives, and ships logs from one centralised location. This cuts processing and loading times and allows us to be more efficient when processing and loading orders.
Our facility covers more than 4 acres of the port terminal
Receiving and export capacity for up to 300k GMT of softwood logs and wood chips per year
Practerra has the capability to produce and export more than 300k GMT per year of softwood logs and/or wood chips from our timber resources in the central Florida basin.


Receiving and export capacity for up to 100k GMT of hardwood logs per year
Our hardwood resources in the region are sufficient to allow us to export more than 100k GMT per year of hardwoods.
Hardwood species primarily consist of oak, maple, and other sought-after hardwoods. These species are available as both logs and as wood chips.
Export capability by container and bulk vessel
The cargo terminal at Port Canaveral has both container and bulk loading capability.

Direct Ocean Access
It’s just 45 minutes from the 14 meter (46 foot) Atlantic Ocean entrance to dock, and with recent and upcoming major investments in maritime, logistics and distribution, transportation and infrastructure projects; capabilities and efficiencies at the 10 deepwater berths continue to improve.
Highway Access
The highway system that connects to Port Canaveral includes modern, uncongested routes to destinations thoughout the southeastern United States. Interstate 95, the major north-south corridor for the Eastern US is just 13 nonstop miles from the Port entrance, with direct access via State Road 528, which provides further nonstop access to Orlando and Central Florida distribution centers. Additional convenient access is available to all corners of Florida via links to US 1, the Florida Turnpike, and Interstate 4.
Rail Access
Florida East Coast Railway access is available via an intermodal terminal located just 15 minutes from Port Canaveral.
